Aim & Scope
The MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, established in 2020, open-access online journal (E-ISSN: 2763-5678) that publishes articles and video articles (optional) on topics related to all medical specialties, also in the various areas of health, and education in public health and medicine, including clinical, pre-clinical, experimental and translational studies, as well as review and meta-analysis studies.
Additionally, articles on alternative medicine, dentistry, nursing, and related health sciences, veterinary sciences, teaching/educational methods in medical sciences, and artificial intelligence in medicine and health sciences are welcome. Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspectives are also encouraged to integrate the fields of medical and health sciences. In this way, the MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences contributes to the international community of medical and health sciences. This enables transdisciplinarity and cross-referencing of information and knowledge, promoting progress in medical education, preventive care, and treatment for animals and humans.
Articles published as "supplements" are among the best academic and institutional studies that complement and/or supplement other studies on the same topic previously published. Thus, for each published edition, there is a corresponding supplementary edition.
The MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences is recognized as an international journal due to its editorial board and reviewers, who represent a diverse global geographic background, including representatives from Brazil, the United States, Israel, South Korea, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Iran, Jordan, India, Palestine, Chile, and Mexico. Furthermore, the MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences accepts articles from international authors.
The MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences publishes all articles in English only.
The MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences encourages publication of preprint articles on public platforms, such as medRxiv (the preprint server for Health Sciences), SciELO Preprints, EmeRI, Authorea, etc, so that, if applicable, they are discussed openly, before being published."
