The MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, established in 2020, open-access online journal (E-ISSN: 2763-5678) that publishes articles and video articles (optional) on topics related to all medical specialties, also in the various areas of health, and education in public health and medicine, including clinical, pre-clinical, experimental and translational studies, as well as review and meta-analysis studies.
Additionally, articles on alternative medicine, dentistry, nursing, and related health sciences, veterinary sciences, teaching/educational methods in medical sciences, and artificial intelligence in medicine and health sciences are welcome. Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspectives are also encouraged to integrate the fields of medical and health sciences. In this way, the MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences contributes to the international community of medical and health sciences. This enables transdisciplinarity and the cross-referencing of information and knowledge, promoting progress in medical education, preventive care, and treatments in animals and humans.
Articles published as "supplements" are among the best academic and institutional studies that complement and/or supplement other studies on the same topic previously published. Thus, for each published edition, there is a corresponding supplementary edition.
The publisher responsible for the management and administration of the MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences is MetaScience Press (Website MetaScience Press), which was established in 2019, and was created and developed at UNESP - São Paulo State University, Institute of Biosciences, Humanities and Exact Sciences (Ibilce) (AUIN - UNESP, and MetaScience Press and UNESP), São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo, Brazil.
The MedNEXT Journal of Medical and Health Sciences requires that authors follow the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals. More information can be found here: ICMJE
